As the name suggests, the goal of this project is to remodel and update the Yamaha FZR400 3TJ1 based on the Yamaha R7. The Yamaha R7 was a limited production (500 units) 750cc homologation special produced for the World Superbike racing series and Suzuka 8 hour. There will be a few changes from the 750 design such as the use of a half fairing and an under-seat radiator. The other goal is to remove 30kg. That may be hoping for too much but it represents a target to aim for.
