The easiest way to remove the bungs is to make a tool that fits inside and use that to wiggle them out. An old screwdriver or 6mm rod can be used and just file the flat to fit the bung.

Remove the merge cavity bung. |
 Clean the cavity and blow compressed air through all orifices. |
Lubricate the new o-ring with some rubber or silicone grease. Just enough to make it glossy.Note: This o-ring is not shown in parts books, nor is it included in other carb kits. |
Then align the flat on the bung with that in the cavity and press home with your fingers. |
